As you enter a journey has already begun. You’ll feel the embrace of our staff’s warm Wiggle welcome. Everyone here is passionate about service and dedicated to offering expert advice. Designated staff specialize in cars, travel, events, wine and food. We are ready to assist with all necessary arrangements, however, grandiose or trivial. Anything from a honeymoon to a haircut. From a summit meeting to a sushi evening. For members all this is available 24/7 through our app.
On entering you will be tempted by the convivial Shuck and Scoop, flowing freely onto pedestrian friendly Bree Street. With its delicious bistro fare masterminded by executive chef Ismail Amos, affectionately known as Chef Fish, it provides a unique setting for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Our resident sommelier and mixologist, Lester Riffel, will advise and steer you around his collection of the more esoteric Western Cape cultivars and creations.
You will be delighted by the local art. You will see one of Cape Town street art’s brightest stars, Chris MacLemons, bringing pizzazz and passion to the infrastructure. Sculptures in the African pantheist tradition by Mambakwedza and the amazing renderings of South African fauna by local artist Danie Marais with his exquisite brushwork breathing life into his amazingly charismatic animal portraits.
Then there is fun and games with our giant state of the art golf simulator. 27 square metres of golf course before your eyes and 56 square metres of putting surface beneath your feet will enable you to play the world’s best golf courses without leaving the comfort of the clubhouse. This is available for walk in golfers, or with prebooked time slots. A single golfer can bash out 18 holes around Pebble Beach, or a four ball can relax into an involved 18 hole better ball adventure, while enjoying the top class catering and drinks from Shuck + Scoop. On weekend mornings we will have kiddies coaching sessions.
This all comes together as an inspiring multi-media event space for all manner of private events; brand launches, fashion shows, pop up art exhibitions, panel discussions. The multi-media birthday parties and any celebration for all ages. This is the WiggleVerse.
Delving deeper into the WiggleVerse there is intimacy and social alchemy in The Wiggle Room. This combines a speakeasy vibe with the exciting prospect of culinary adventure. It’s where ideas germinate as the palate salivates. Plans are hatched as the pans are cooked. Friendships blossom as the seasoning takes. This is where guest chefs from different backgrounds visit for showcase events to hone and test their inspirations. Private dinners are crafted and podcast conversations are teased into being. What hatches in The Wiggle Room can stay there, or it can go forth to conquer the World.
